The Cork City Sports athlete of the month award for April goes to the Leevale AC senior women’s team of Carol Finn, Michelle Finn and Lizzie Lee.  This team won the national road relay championship in Raheny on the 19th April setting a new course record new. This is the second year in a row that the Leevale women’s team have won this title.

The Leevale team was represented by Carol Finn and middle distance coach Donie Walsh as Michelle is in Belgium preparing for a steeplechase race and Lizzie is preparing for the Berlin marathon.
