Athlete Of The Month – October

At an award ceremony in the River Lee Hotel, Noelle Lenihan (North Cork AC) from Charleville, received the Cork City Sports Athlete of the month award for October. Noelle competed in discus the Work Paralympic Games in Doha and threw a F38 world record 31.64m and a silver medal in the F37 category.

Noelle is a very promising young athlete and is now looking forward to representing Ireland at the Paralympics in Rio Next Year.
