Alannah Neff, Carrigaline Community School & Leevale AC is Cork City Sports athlete of the month for May . At the both the South Munster and Munster schools track and field championships Alannah recorded outstanding doubles in the Senior Girls 1500m flat and 1500m steeplechase races. She later went on to take victory at the Irish Schools 1500m steeplechase  in what was regarded as the most exciting race of the championships in Tullamore.

Alannah is in the start  line-up for a highly competitive Junior Women’s 1500m at the 67th Cork City Sports on the 16th July.
