Lizzie Lee, representing Leevale AC, has been honoured with the prestigious Cork City Sports Athlete of the Month award for her remarkable achievements in the month of September. Her stunning performance in a series of road races and an outstanding victory at the 42nd Echo Women’s Mini Marathon on September 17th has made her a deserving recipient of this recognition.

 Throughout the summer months, Lizzie Lee showcased her incredible talent and determination by securing an awe-inspiring sixteen consecutive victories in road races. Her remarkable consistency and dedication to the sport were on full display as she continued to dominate the competition.

 The pinnacle of Lizzie’s September achievements came on the 17th of the month when she led the field of approximately 3000 participants at the 42nd edition of the Echo Women’s Mini Marathon
