We are thrilled to announce that the deserving recipient of the Cork City Sports Athlete of the Month for November is  Fiona Everard from Bandon AC. 

 At the Athletics Ireland senior cross country held at Gowran County Kilkenny, Fiona secured victory in the Irish senior cross country championship, marking a truly memorable day for herself, her family, club and her friends. This breakthrough performance showcased Fiona’s exceptional talent and dedication to her sport.

What makes this accomplishment even more remarkable is that Fiona’s success at the Irish senior cross country championship automatically secured her a coveted spot on the Irish team for the European cross country championships. Held just a few weeks later in Belgium, this prestigious event attracted top athletes from across the continent, and Fiona’s inclusion in the Irish team is a testament to her skill and determination.
