Kerry’s Laura Crowe who ran a 2.02 in the Oslo Daimond League earlier this week is up against Kilkenny’s Ciara Everard and Kildare’s Rose-Anne Galligan have each reduced their best times over the past year and are edging ever closer to the magical two minute barrier for the distance and with the likes of Americans Phoebie Wright, Geena Gall, Heather Kaapf and Ajee Wilson in great form at present the home athletes could achieve their objective.
Australians Zoe Buckman and Selma Kajan will target podiium positions and the vastly improving New Zealander Angie Smit is another sure to be around at the business end of two laps.
