Alonso Edward PANAMA is a sprinting sensation and he is confirmed for the Cork City Sports on July 18th. He is World Championship silver medallist and Olympic finalist. He is a staggering 9 times Diamond League meeting winner and 3 times overall Diamond Trophy winner.

 

Other additions to the field are Jamaicans Everton Clarke and Ryan Shields who ran 9.89 at the Stockholm Diamond League in June. Brandon Carnes (SB 20.25) and Dedric Dukes (SB 20.37) who have been hugely successful on the Diamond League circuit this summer are both going to provide tough competition in the 200m. Dukes was World Youth Champion and five times NCAA champion.
