Meet Office
The Cork City Sports will have a temporary office at Lee Point (ask at reception for access when you arrive)

Food
Food will be served upstairs (wheelchair accessible) in 77 Grand Parade (3 mins walk from Lee Point). In order to avail of this you must present your lanyard.

Wednesday

Please be aware that seating is limited, so please vacate your table after you have finished eating to accommodate your fellow athletes.
Stadium
The Cork City Sports will be held at the MTU Athletics Stadium, Munster Technological University, Bishopstown, Cork City, Ireland, T12 P928.
Shuttle Bus To Track
There will be a shuttle bus service to the track on July 8th leaving Lee Point on the half hour and leaving from MTU on the hour. This service starts at 15.30.
The final bus from the track after the meet is at 21.30.
Please allow yourself extra time to transfer to the track due to current road works in the city.
Training Facilities and Times
MTU Track will be available for training at the following times:
- Tuesday 7th July: 14.00-18.00
- Wednesday 8th July: 09.00-16.00
Hammer Training: By Appointment only.
Weight room /Gym facilities are available at the MTU arena on production of your CCS lanyard.
If you would prefer to do your training run from Lee Point, please speak to someone in the office for route suggestions.
Swimming pool facilities are available free of charge at LeisureWorld (next to the track).
To obtain admission, please present your CCS lanyard at the LeisureWorld reception.

Check in/Bib info
Registration, bib collection, warm up and call room are all located in the area underneath the stand in MTU. There is an additional warm up area (astro turf) adjacent to the MTU arena

Field events: 40 mins before start
Hammer and Shot Putt Weighing : 90 Mins before start
Track events: 20 mins before start
World Ranking Points
Cork City Sports is a World Athletics Bronze Meeting. Ranking Points will be allocated to international races as follows:
1st – 42 points, 2nd – 35 points, 3rd – 31 points, 4th – 28 points, 5th – 25 points, 6th – 22 points, 7th – 19 points and 8th – 16 points.
Racing Protocol
Athletes will be brought to the start from the call room, Field event competitors will be introduced to the spectators before their event commences. Track competitors will be introduced on the starting line.
The first three athletes after each event (compiled result where heats are involved), must remain near the finish line for a presentation ceremony that will take place immediately after the event. For field events the Chief Judge or his representative will bring the first three competitors to the prize giving area.
Please be aware that there may be random footwear checks conducted in accordance with European Athletics regulations
Physio
Physio is available at the MTU track on Wednesday 8th July from 16.30 to 20.30. Physio will be in MTU Arena rooms 1 and 3. See map below for location.
Physio is also available at Lee Point accommodation (by appointment only) on the evening of Tuesday 7th July from 17.00 to 20.00. Please refer to Liz, Craig or Edel in the Cork City Sports Office for prior reservation.
Prize Money
Prize Money for International Events:
1st – €1000, 2nd – €600, 3rd – €400, 4th – €300, 5th – €200
Bonus Structure:
Mens 100m: €300 win bonus sub 10.10 or €1000 win bonus sub 10.00
Womens 100m: €300 win bonus sub 11.20 or €1000 win bonus sub 11.00
Mile: €300 win bonus sub 3:54.00 or €1000 win bonus sub 3:50.00
Meet Record: €200 bonus
Athlete of the meeting: €200 bonus

Departure Timetable
Departure times to Cork Airport /Air Coach/Train Station will be posted on Wednesday morning on the wall outside of the office. Please check that your name is on a list, and crosscheck the time you are departing Lee Point and the relevant mode of transport.
If you do not see your name, contact Edel, Liz, Ray or Craig in the office.
If you are going to The Morton Games directly from Lee Point on Thursday morning, there is a special bus available. Please check that your name is on the relevant list. Please also note that all spaces have been pre-allocated.
Please ensure that you confirm your departure details (in the CCS office) as soon as possible on arrival at Lee Point
