Irish Athletes will be invited to compete in the July 8, 2026 Cork City Sports International Athletics Meet. Expressions of interest to compete can be sent to the Meet Director, Mark Walk, via email meetdirector@corkcitysports.ie.

International Athletes
Cork City Sports International Athletics Meet is open to any athlete affiliated to a National Athletics Association that is a member of World Athletics. Agents/International athletes interested in competing in the July 8, 2026 Cork City Sports can send information and questions to the Meet Director, Mark Walk, via email meetdirector@corkcitysports.ie.
Please include your Name, Event, Country, Personal Best, Season Best and link to the athlete’s World Athletics site. The Meet Director will review all inquiries to determine if an invite for a place in the particular event will be given. It is a matter solely for the Meet Director to decide the start lists.

The Cork City Sports will be held at the MTU Athletics Stadium, Munster Technological University, Bishopstown, Cork City, Ireland, T12 P928.
World Ranking Points
Cork City Sports is a World Athletics Bronze Meeting. Ranking Points will be allocated to international races as follows:
1st – 42 points, 2nd – 35 points, 3rd – 31 points, 4th – 28 points, 5th – 25 points, 6th – 22 points, 7th – 19 points and 8th – 16 points.
Prize Money
Prize Money for International Events:
1st – €1000, 2nd – €600, 3rd – €400, 4th – €300, 5th – €200
Bonus Structure:
Mens 100m: €300 win bonus sub 10.10 or €1000 win bonus sub 10.00
Womens 100m: €300 win bonus sub 11.20 or €1000 win bonus sub 11.00
Mile: €300 win bonus sub 3:54.00 or €1000 win bonus sub 3:50.00
Meet Record: €200 bonus
