Rob Heffernan is the Cork City Sports Athlete Of The Month for August 2017. Robert receives the award after displaying his consistency at the pinnacle of race walking over a long and distinguished career, by again matching strides with the worlds elite when he placed 8th in the 50km walk at the IAAF World Championships in London.
