David Cussen (Old Abbey AC) is the June winner of the Cork City Sports monthly award. David was presented teh award at ceremony in The River Lee Hotel. At the national senior championships on June 26th in Santry Stadium  David won his 3rd national outdoor senior title with a height of 2.10m in very adverse weather conditions. Earlier in the year David also won the national indoor title with a seasonal best height of 2.15m. This is the second occasion David has won the award as he continues to dominate High Jump in Cork.
