Davis College student and athlete Ray Walsh received the Cork City Sports Athlete of the Month Award for May. Walsh impressed in the Aviva Munster Schools Championships by taking the double in the intermediate 100m and 200m events. Walsh then went on to take silver in the same events at the AVIVA Irish Schools Track and Field Championships. Walsh’s impressive performances contributed to Davis College receiving the title of All-Ireland Intermediate All-Round Champions.
