Darragh McElhinney, Bantry AC, is Cork City Sports Athlete of the Month award for November 2018. On the 25th November Darragh was a comprehensive winner of the National Junior (Under 20) cross country championship held at the National Sports Campus in Abbotstown. Darragh followed up on this run with a very creditable 16th place at the European championships in The Netherlands.

The award was presented to Darragh at a function in the River Lee Hotel, Cork, on Monday December 17th 2018
