Robert Heffernan, World Champion 2013 and 5th in the World in Beijing is the Cork City Sports Athletics Person’s of the month for August

In August Robert travelled to Beijing to compete in the 50K walk at the World Athletics Championships. Even though he had a tough year with injuries Robert put in a fantastic performance to finish 5th in the World. Now fully recovered and injury free Robert is focused on the 2016 Olympics in Rio. This is a great opportunity for the Cork athlete to add to his impressive collection of international titles.
