Lucy Holmes of Munster Technological University (MTU) was honored as the Cork City Sports Athlete of the Month for April. Competing at the Irish Universities Championships in Belfast, Lucy delivered a spectacular performance, securing a double victory in both the 800m and 1500m events. Facing top-class competition in both races, Lucy triumphed with remarkable times of 2:11.7 in the 800m and 4:31.4 in the 1500m.
