U.S.World silver medallist Danielle Carruthers may return to Cork next July as part of her competitive comeback to international hurdling following an injury ravaged 2013.

The 34 year old American with a personal best time for the 100m hurdles of 12.47sec.clocked at the World Championships in Daegu where she finished runner up has a strong liking for the Cork City Sports having won there in 2003  (13.14) and ran even faster im 2005 where she took fifth place in 12.90 sec
