One of the star attractions at the forthcoming Cork City Sports is two time Olympic Gold Medallist, De’Hashia Tonnek (“DeeDee”) Trotter (born December 8, 1982) from the United States. Trotter is a former NCAA national champion in the 400m and she competes in the 200 meters on Tuesday night, 7th July at the Cork Institute of Technology track. Trotter is also a fitness model and the founder of Test Me I’m Clean, a non-profit operation that advocates for drug-free athletics.
Competing in the star studded international field will be Kelly Proper from Ferrybank, the athlete with the most national senior titles in Irish Athletics history.
