The 62nd Cork City Sports is just four weeks away, Tuesday July 2nd, CIT Arena. There is already a hug buzz around for this years event with international athletes flying in from all over 32 countries to compete. For anyone with with even a passing interest in athletics this will be an evening not to be missed.

Once again Cork City Sports 2013 will include a juvenile 300m Gala in the programme. This event has proved to be a great success providing young aspiring athletes with the opportunity to compete at Ireland’s premier international T&F Meet. The 300m Gala is open to all boys and girls born between 2000 (under 14) – 2005 (Under 9), inclusive. There will be commemorative medals for the first three in each heat of each race, plus souvenirs for all finishers.

Entries will be taken on the day from 4:45pm and races will start at 5:30pm.

Clubs should bring  all  young athletes along for a great evening of sports, it is not often they get the opportunity to compete in the same competition as so many Olympians.  Juvenile entry is free.
