Robert Hefernan is looking forward to competing at the 65th Cork City Sports on Tuesday 28th June at CIT Track. Robert states “it is always special to compete in front of the home crowd at Cork City Sports. The support that I get in Cork is amazing and it is great to have the opportunity to enjoy a race with them. ”

Robert who has recently been upgraded to Olympic bronze for the 50K race walk in London, is the only Irish male athlete in history to have won World Championship, European Championship & Olympic medals and joins the great Sonia O’Sullivan with this prestigious medal collection.

The 3000m race walk commences at 7:10pm.  Don’t miss it.
