Meeting record holder for the 400m Hurdles and defending champion Cornel Fredericks returns to Cork on 8th July for the 63rd Cork City Sports.  Fredericks set his meeting record at the fast CIT track in 2012 and will be keen to lower his time this year in advance of the Commonwealth Games.

Another Springbok athlete returning to Cork for the 400m will be Andrew Barnes who is a regular competitor in Ireland.
