A truly worldclass international field is been assembled for the Hammer at the forthcoming Cork City Sports to be held on Tuesday 8th July at the CIT Athletics Stadium, Bishopstown, Cork.

Spanish champion and record holder, Javier Cienfurgos who has thrown a massive 76.71m for the Hammer is the latest addition to the field together with the new British sensation Nick Miller who is dominating the hammer throwing scene on the U.S. college circuit this year. Miller has already thrown 74.38m and will be aiming for around 76 metres by the time of Cork. With French champion, Fredrick Peuzy and top Australian, Tim Drieson also heading for the 63rd Cork City Sports in addition to the top throwers already confirmed a superb competition is guaranteed.
