Cork City Sports 2012 is just around the corner and this year is going to be a cracker. The events have loaded up with athletes from all over the world seeking competition in order to acclimatise themselves before London 2012.
Athletes from the Olympic Teams of USA, Jamaica, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and many more will compete at the 61st Cork City Sports.
If you have the slightest interest in athletics or if you cannot get to London for the Olympics then CIT is the place to be next Tuesday evening. Entrance is just €10 per adult (€15 for the stand) and juveniles are free.
Be sure to come early for the juvenile 300m Gala with Sonia O’Sullivan and stay to watch great competitions with the Olympic bound athletes compete.
Juvenile Gala starts at 5:30pm and the senior programme starts at 6:30pm
