The women’s Hammer at the 70th Cork City Sports has received a further boost today with the confirmation of World Ranked number two Janee Kassanavoid, USA. She is a two time World Championships medalist and has a seasons best throw of 74.99m. 

 

This makes the Women’s Hammer competition at the 70th Cork City Sports one of the highest quality fields in the world during 2024 with world ranking 2, 3, 13, 27 and 39  competing for the title. The event starts at 5:30pm so be sure to arrive in time to witness this very special competition.
