Organisers of the 63rd Cork City Sports have received confirmation from Japan that three of that country’s elite womens distance squad are set to compete over 3000m at this this year’s event on Tuesday 8th July.

Leading the strong Japanese challenge will be the highly rated Yuika Mori who has already run 15:26.80 for 5000m on th track this year and 9:10.35 for 3000m. Kasumi  Nishimara has run even faster for the 5000m and the third runner in the field will be be the promising Shito Takechi who at twenty three will be the youngest member of the group.
